For the Love of Christ Controls us
[14] For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; [15] and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.
[16] From now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh, we regard him thus no longer. [17] Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. [18] All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; [19] that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. [20] Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. [21] For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Firstly, this student ministry is rooted in Christ Jesus. It is rooted in the person and work of the Son of God. It is rooted in what Jesus has done for sinners at the cross in taking our sin, dying our death, paying our debts, and rising from the grave on the third day. This is the glorious hope of the world, that we can be reconciled to God through Jesus Christ by faith in Him. Sinners can be made perfect and blameless, slaves can be redeemed, and enemies can be adopted through the blood of the Jesus Christ.
We are a people who have been made alive by Jesus Christ, it is His love that compels us to have this ministry. It is because of Him, we have life and are made His ambassadors. Therefore we are a ministry dedicated to reflect Jesus Christ in the way that we live in holiness and Christlikeness and we are a ministry dedicated to proclaiming the very good news of Jesus Christ!
Specifically, we are a student ministry. We are a ministry dedicated to seeing the salvation of students in middle school and high school. We pray as we proclaim the gospel of Christ, God's spirit would bring life to dead hearts, raising students to life in Christ. We pray and long for students to be reconciled to their God in a real living faith in the Savior Jesus Christ. And that they would then live in obedience to the King and proclaim Him in their schools and families. And by God's grace see many friends and family also come to know King Jesus.
